In the Esikeldinsky district, law enforcement officers, in collaboration with the prosecutor's office and the DKNB, shut down an underground laboratory for the production of synthetic drugs.
Two foreigners arrived in Kazakhstan at the direction of their "curator" with the intent to organize illegal production. During the search, equipment for drug manufacturing was discovered, along with over 6.4 kg of mephedrone and a 200-liter reactor containing remnants of precursors intended for further production.
The foreigners and their accomplice—a resident of Astana—have been detained. All three are currently in custody. Efforts are underway to identify other members of the criminal group.
