According to Kazhydromet, starting from December 21, a northwestern cyclone will influence the majority of Kazakhstan's territory — snow, blizzards, and gusty winds are expected.
On December 21, heavy snowfall is anticipated in Pavlodar region, and on December 22, in East Kazakhstan region. By December 23, with the shift of the western anticyclone to the south of the country, predominantly dry weather is expected.
In the western part of the country, on December 23, precipitation in the form of rain, wet snow, and ice is expected.
No significant changes in temperature are anticipated.
