Dimash Kudaibergen's fan club in Poland has taken a significant step towards strengthening cultural ties by publishing the first "Polish-Kazakh Phrasebook" in the country. This book is the result of two years of work aimed at promoting the Kazakh language and culture of Kazakhstan, as reported by DimashNews.com .
According to the publication, the idea for the phrasebook emerged during Kazakh language courses conducted on "Radio Dimash." Participants learned basic words and phrases useful for traveling to Kazakhstan. The courses were led by teacher Beglan Sharymbaev from Almaty, who recorded lessons for the fan club and assisted in mastering Kazakh pronunciation.
A notable feature of the learning process was the preparation of phonetic transcriptions of Kazakh words in Polish to facilitate learning. Over time, the participants decided to compile all the gathered material and create a book.
The development of the phrasebook involved Kazakh language teacher Beglan Sharymbaev, illustrator Ivona Opara-Stacholec, proofreader Ula Wlodarska, and author and host of the Kazakh language courses Teresa Konkole.
"The phrasebook will not only introduce Dimash's fans to the basics of the Kazakh language but also make the learning process enjoyable with vibrant illustrations. The main characters of the book are the Kazakh eagle and the Polish stork," the artist's press service states.
The creators hope that the mini-book will serve as a helpful guide for travelers in Kazakhstan and inspire Dimash's fans to delve deeper into his culture.
"I am very proud of our work. This is yet another testament to how Dimash's Polish fan club continues not only to support his creativity but also to promote the Kazakh language," Teresa Konkole shared.
