In Ridder, long lines have formed at gas stations due to a shortage of gasoline.

For several days now, there has been a shortage of fuel in Ridder. Drivers are having difficulty obtaining AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline. Fuel is being distributed through vouchers, and in some places, it is completely unavailable, reports Orda.kz correspondent.
В Риддере образовались очереди на АЗС из-за нехватки бензина.
“AI-92 gasoline has recently become available, but there is no 95. The queue at Qazaq Oil is long, stretching from the First District to the turn,”
shared Ridder resident Azamat.

The entrepreneurship department of Ridder confirmed that a fuel truck arrived at the Qazaq Oil station today, but if the rush does not subside, gasoline will be dispensed in limited quantities—20 liters at a time. Drivers are eager to fill their tanks. At the "Gaztechoborudovanie" station, 95 is still available, and they plan to resume sales of 92 as soon as a 20-ton fuel truck arrives. It is likely that starting tomorrow, 92, 95, and diesel will be available at Helios stations. For now, fuel is only being sold with vouchers, just like at the station with the LNP sign (now known as the LLP "ALEM SUPPLY SERVICES").

Fuel shortages in Ridder occur quite frequently. The reasons can vary. This time, supply disruptions have affected two major gas station networks—Qazaq Oil and "Gaztechoborudovanie."

“The trains at 'Gaztechoborudovanie' are stuck, not even at the oil depot in Ust-Kamenogorsk, but at the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant. Fuel for the entire region is being delivered in one shipment. The trains are expected to arrive in Ust-Kamenogorsk today. As soon as they are unloaded, 'Gaztechoborudovanie' will fill its tanks and deliver gasoline to Ridder,”
explained Asel Zhumabaeva, head of the entrepreneurship department of Ridder.

According to her, Qazaq Oil also has its issues. There is a shortage of fuel trucks, and the equipment is unable to distribute fuel in a timely manner. Three fuel trucks are currently under repair, and now the city of Shemonaiha, which was previously part of Semey, also needs gasoline deliveries. To address the problem, the entrepreneurship department is negotiating with the management of "Qazaq Oil" to supply gasoline to Ridder in larger volumes—not 20, but 40 tons. Perhaps this way, supply interruptions can be avoided? However, there is a challenge. At the entrance to Ridder, there is a steep descent and ascent known as Kozlushka. Gas station owners are concerned that a large fuel truck may not be able to navigate this hill.

“If they do decide to send a 40-ton truck to us, the akimat will definitely provide support. We will organize road improvements at Kozlushka and other locations to ensure the fuel truck can ascend and descend safely, and we will escort it directly to the gas station,”
Zhumabaeva assured.

The entrepreneurship department added that the fuel issue in Ridder is temporary, and the situation will stabilize soon.
